Inclusion and Exclusion of Islam in Europe - October Workshop 2017

Research profile seminar

Please join us for the annual CERGU October Workshop, followed by the Centre for European Studies (CES) graduation ceremony. All are welcome, no pre-registration necessary.

This year's theme is Inclusion and Exclusion of Islam in Europe and will feature a number of expert researchers from the University of Gothenburg.

Understanding Discriminatory Violence through the lens of narratives of inclusion and exclusion
David Brax, Dr in Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science

Interplay between museological narratives of inclusion and exclusion in Europe
Klas Grinell, Associate Professor in History of Ideas, Department of Literature, History of Ideas and Religion

Constructions of democratic values and practices
Ann-Kristin Jonasson, Senior Lecturer in Political Science, Department of Political Science

All presentations will be held in English.
